Diana Lee Carey
Diana Lee Carey has a life-long habit of serving others. She actively serves as a volunteer for numerous local organizations. Diana is an active member of Westminster Chamber of Commerce and serves on its fundraising committee.
Her many hats include President and Treasurer of Kiwanis Club of Westminster, Vice-President of and a major contributor to the Friends of the Rose Center Theater, Chairwoman for the Camp Pendleton 3rd Battalion Family Adoption Committee; and is a Life Member of Seal Beach Animal Care Center.
Diana supports the Boys and Girls Club of Westminster “Hoops” program, the Westminster Police Officers Association Memorial Bike Ride for fallen officers, the Westminster Senior Center Foundation, and has been a co-sponsor of the Westminster Tet Parade, a team sponsor of "Diana's Devil Dogs" from Camp Pendleton for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life-Westminster.
Her accomplishments continue with her serving on OC Water District Citizens Oversight Committee, Animal Assistance League of Orange County, WAGS (a Westminster pet adoption organization), and as a grant contributor to the county CSP’s Human Trafficking Program.
This is just a peek into Diana Lee Carey’s many volunteer activities. She has such a passion for the betterment of this community and without a doubt worthy of "Citizen of the Year."
